A useful starting point is how much you need to pack and how long you want to keep the totes. Room counts help, but a kitchen full of dishes and a room with only furniture create very different packing needs.
Start with the package sizes
- 10 totes: a room, dorm, office, renovation, or small packing project.
- 20 totes: an apartment or compact move.
- 40 totes: a small-home move with more kitchen, closet, and everyday items.
- 60 totes: a larger household or fuller home.
These are starting points, not guarantees that a particular number will fit every home. Tell Katie and Joe about your rooms and belongings if you want help choosing. Every package includes matching lids and one rolling tote dolly.
Choose seven or fourteen days
A one-week rental gives you seven calendar days from the receive date to the requested return date. A two-week rental gives you fourteen. Include time to pack before the move and unpack afterward. If you need longer while planning, choose two weeks rather than relying on late fees as an extension.
An upgrade from one week to two weeks must be requested before the due date and depends on availability. See the current package prices and fees before booking.
Plan what goes in each tote
Group items by room, put heavier items low, and use appropriate padding for fragile belongings. Keep medications, documents, chargers, and moving-day essentials with you. Secure the lids and pack only what you can safely lift. Weather-resistant totes still need sensible protection from standing water and extreme conditions.
